Welcome to Mark Bills Middle School

Another busy school year has ended and I look forward to the next phase in my life, retirement.  I have been extremely fortunate to have served as a teacher, then principal of Mark Bills Middle School starting with the 1986-87 school year. During my years at Mark Bills, I have collected many wonderful memories and experiences that I will be taking with me into my retirement. I am also very thankful for all of the cooperation, friendship and support that I have received over the years from the families within our community and from the faculty and staff of our great school.

Mr. Scott Montgomery has been selected to be the new principal of Mark Bills Middle School. Mr. Montgomery started with District 150 Schools in 1981 as a middle school math teacher at Loucks School. He later became a high school dean at Richwoods High School before becoming the principal of White Middle School. He currently is the principal of Lincoln Middle School and will officially take over as the new principal of Mark Bills Middle School for the 2008-09 school year.

Mr. Montgomery is an experienced and highly qualified administrator who will be an outstanding replacement as the next principal of Mark Bills Midddle School. Please join me in welcoming Mr. Montgomery as the next principal of our school.

Sincerely,

Rob Bethel

Scholar's Cup

We ended the Scholars' Cup season at the WTVP studios with two more exciting matches on Tuesday, May 13th.

The results of the consolation and championship games are as follows:

Second Place: Lindbergh

First Place: Mark Bills

Championship Game: Mark Bills - 275, Lindbergh - 135

Mark Bills was the only undefeated team this season. Coach Laura Crowson played ten different players each game, even though the rules require that only three players must be changed at the half-way mark. She has followed this practice for many years to give more players an opportunity to play and to test the skills of all of her players.

Congratulations to Coach Crowson and the Mark Bills Eagles!
