Speaker
On Tuesday, August 26th Dr. Elsburgh Clarke, who is head of Emergency Services at Methodist Medical Center, spoke to the student body and staff. He spoke of the importance of believing in yourself, setting goals and working hard in your education. His story of being a motivated young man who achieved his goal to become a doctor was inspiring to everyone in attendance and was a great way to kick off our year. Thank you Dr. Clarke!

Scholar's Cup
We ended the Scholars' Cup season at the WTVP studios with two more exciting matches on Tuesday, May 13th. The results of the consolation and championship games are as follows:Second Place: Lindbergh First Place: Mark Bills Championship Game: Mark Bills - 275, Lindbergh - 135 Mark Bills was the only undefeated team this season. Coach Laura Crowson played ten different players each game, even though the rules require that only three players must be changed at the half-way mark. She has followed this practice for many years to give more players an opportunity to play and to test the skills of all of her players. Congratulations to Coach Crowson and the Mark Bills Eagles!
